Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball was born November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, and also an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show to start their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball says that she owes her interest in politics due to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primaries, and also was able to observe the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She was able see the impact it had on the citizens of Jordan and gained an appreciation of the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 until July 2015.
