Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009); the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015); and the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki's career started in 2001 when she worked for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki then became deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was named the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 presidential election campaign. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. She was hired at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30, 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in 2015 , and was there until the end.
